Cuisine
Odessa has much to offer in terms of cuisine. It is easy to find traditional Ukrainian-Russian cuisine such as borscht, solyanka (thick, spicy, sour soup) and stuffed dumplings. There is also a lot of seafood/fish on offer. International cuisine is served at many outlets from sushi, to Indian, Turkish or Italian dishes and Odessa even boasts a US style steak house. At the French inspired “Kompot” eatery, night owls / late risers can enjoy breakfast until 23:00!
Peculiar to Odessa are the “mobile coffee houses” which you come across everywhere in the city centre.
